BiblioBoard

BiblioBoard is a collection of ebooks from the E-Read Texas Unlimited Collection, including popular non-fiction such as crafts, travel, nutrition and health, and gardening, along with adult and young adult fiction.  Accessible anywhere in Texas.  Available through the TexShare Databases.  Contact the Reference Desk at 214.509.4905 for login information.

Librivox

Librivox houses public domain audiobooks, the majority of which are read by volunteers from around the world on their home computer set up.  Files can be played in-browser or the MP3 files can be downloaded in a ZIP file.

Open Culture

Open Culture offers over 800 free eBooks for iPad, Kindle, and other devices.  The site also offers hundreds of free eAudiobooks, mostly classics.  eAudiobooks can be downloaded to your MP3 player or computer.

Project Gutenberg

Project Gutenberg is a collection of over 60,000 free eBooks available in both Epub and Kindle formats.  Titles may be downloaded or read online.  The focus is on older works for which U.S. copyright has expired.
