Memorial Day closures: Monday, May 30
City of Allen offices and facilities are closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 30. Trash collection will slide to the next day, ending with all routes completed by Saturday, June 4. Normal business hours resume Tuesday, May 31. -

New playground coming to Greenville Heights Park
The 16-year-old playground equipment will be replaced with colorful play structures complete with slides and climbing features. The project is expected to kick off in late spring 2022 and will take approximately one month to complete. -
Allen is planning its first public dog park!
Plans are moving along for a new dog park at Jupiter Park. Once a bid is approved, construction is expected to take 9 to 12 months with expected opening in spring 2023.
