Group Exercise Classes
Terrell Recreation Center offers a robust group exercise schedule featuring popular classes such as strength training, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, cycle, barre, and more. Members and active day-pass holders have unlimited access to all classes on the group exercise calendar.

The Fitness Floor
Visit the second level - an open fitness floor complete with top-of-the-line free weights, cardio equipment, circuit machines, an outdoor fitness deck and indoor adventure track.
State-of-the-Art Cardio EquipmentThe cardio zone holds top-of-the-line Precor and Aviron equipment. The machines provide high-tech features such as wireless cellphone battery chargers and large, next-gen screens to screencast favorite shows from your phone.
Indoor Track & Adventure TrackFor the seasoned runner, leisurely walker and everyone in between, our indoor adventure track offers a comfortable place to move year-round. The track loop is 1/9-mile and adventure track (with stairs and inclined options) is a 1/8-mile loop.
Strength Training AreaBuild strength and tone muscle in our second-floor strength-training area with equipment from Hammer Strength, Precor and Life Fitness. Discover a variety of circuit machines and free weights designed to target every muscle group.
Outdoor Fitness DeckStep outside onto our outdoor fitness deck, equipped with medicine balls, ropes, chin-up bars, a punching bag, and more, for an exercise experience in the fresh air. This zone is a great space to weave functional training workouts into your routine.
Terrell Recreation Center’s experienced personal trainers provide dedicated guidance, motivation, and customized workout plans to help you achieve your unique health transformations. One-on-one and small group sessions are available based around your schedule. Small group sessions are for couples or friends who want to train together and share the cost. Talk with a team member at the second-floor fitness desk to get started.

The Rec Gym
Round out your fitness routine and meet friends for a game on our versatile gym courts. Our Rec Gym is comprised of three half-sized courts, one which includes an athletic turf option for games like futsal, indoor soccer and turf training. Batting Cages for Baseball and Softball
Maintain your baseball and softball skills year-round with our dedicated indoor batting cages on athletic turf. The pitching machine's speed ranges from a nice, slow pitch to a baseball fast-pitch.

Batting Cage Availability and Rates
Reservations are required for batting cages and are first come, first served. Reserve at the Member Services Desk. Availability may change based on City-sponsored events and activities.

Meet the Fieldhouse Gymnasium, home to many future sessions of practice, play and competition. The gymnasium holds eight half-sized/four full-sized courts for games of basketball, volleyball and pickleball, as well as plenty of spectator seating.
