Piece: 'A is For Allen'

Medium: Limestone, steel and dichroic glass

Description: Allen drivers are greeted by an abstracted 'A' representing the dynamic, modern community. This median beautification project spans one mile as the 'A' is seen constructed traveling west and deconstructed driving east. Native stone, similar to what was used in the Collin County Old Stone Dam that served steam locomotives over 130 years ago, is a major component of the contemporary artwork.
